TONIGHT: Coffee and Donuts! (The Lounge 9:30pm)

Don't these look good?!  Mmm... How about some coffee to go with that?  Well you can have both!  Come down to the lounge tonight at 9:30!  And don't forget to bring any extra coins for our change drive!

Gramercy Gives Back

Tonight, Gramercy is starting something very special!  As your RA's were deciding how we could give back this semester, RA Twig suggested we buy an acre of the rainforest!  We all loved the idea and who doesn't want to save some cute animals in need!

So, this is where we ask for your help!  We are going to be collecting change to adopt our Gramercy Acre!  Tonight, at 9:30pm in the Lounge, we will decorate a few jars that you will see scattered around the building for the remainder of the semester.  If you find yourself walking into the building with a few extra pennies in your pocket, PLEASE drop them in the jar.  Every little bit helps!

We will also be having an event at the end of the semester to help raise money towards our acre, so keep an eye out for that!  For now, we need help kicking it off!  So we'll see you ladies tonight!  Twig and I will be bringing snacks, so get excited!!!

Gramercy Gives Back!

 Last week the Gramercy Gals Society hosted a very special event.  A bunch of Residents came down to the lounge to decorate cards for children in local hospitals.  The turn out was amazing!

We have a few charities picked out to send these cards to.  Once we send them out, we'll do a post about where our cards went!  Thank you so much to everyone who came down and decorated, it was really a magical experience!  Now for the age old question....

Starting the year off right...

Gramercy kicked off the school year with delicious Tacos on Sunday! So many of you came out and it was so great to meet you! The taco night was hosted by the Gramercy Gals Society which you all learned about from me, RA Molly, at your floor meetings.

To kind of catch you up if you weren't at Taco Night, the GGS has events every other week and we really just get together to hang out, de-stress, talk about classes and enjoy ourselves. Gramercy is a family and this is how we grow a little closer together. Make sure you check our programming calendar and you can TOTALLY make suggestions on what you would like to see as a program. Actually, if you have an idea, leave it in the comments of this post!

Thanks to everyone who came! Wasn't it fun?! Plus...who doesn't like free food? Hope everyone is adjusting well back into Gramercy and enjoy your first week of classes!!!
